I took this picture a couple of weeks ago during my last business trip to the Philippines.

Manila is a city shaped by centuries. Founded in 1571 under Spanish rule, it grew around Intramuros, a walled center of power and faith. It became a key hub in global trade, linking Asia and the Americas. After the devastation of World War II, Manila rebuilt itself into a vibrant, resilient capital where history and modern life coexist on every street.
